Ok well it has been ages since I have been able to pop onto DA here. All I can say is wow was my inbox loaded! Please do not take offense I did delete most of the watcher notices where the folks I watch had submitted new items. At over 2000 messages all I could really do was delete the bulk and go through feedback messages and notes. I generally go through and look at each individual deviation that pops through my inbox but my computer refused to cooperate.
  Anywho I am hoping to get some new submissions up on the site soon. Keep your eyes out for some horse stock! My Aunt has a very photogenic paint mare that I plan to photograph here soon. I do not have a fancy camera but the one I have should do the job for some basic shots.
  Now what has been going on in my life to keep me off of here you might ask? Well that is easily answered. My husband is getting out of the military so I am now down here in SC getting our place set up. I purchased 10 acres recently and am in the process of getting it ready for horses and other farm animals(not to mention us humans lol). Anywho it keeps me fairly busy. I plan to go up there and get some nice nature shots prior to it getting timbered this week coming. I hate to have the wood cute but it needs to be done. We plan to go back and replant an orchard for our selves. Not to mention a great many Willow trees. Anywho I have to get going and I wish everyone the best of luck!

<SIDE NOTE>: I made some of my stuff where it is no longer a free download. I do apologize for this as they were never intended as a free download. Nothing pricey by far. In fact every thing that I did put a price on is less than 35 Cents. So no biggie. The majority is still free.  I will also be adding some more free stuff in the future as well.

Just a heads up but I plan to resubmit some of my older submissions to Horwse in this next round of voting. I have said in the past that I would no longer be submitting but since I am wanting to start playing again figured I would submit some to work on getting my pass stock built up. SO please note that if you see my coats on Horwse in the next round of voting it is ME that has submitted them.

Well I finally got a few stock photos up. they aren't from  New York  but I still like them. Maybe they will give a perspective as to my cartoony backgrounds. My cartoon versions are a vision of what I see when I think of home and those picks are from my home state. I hope you all enjoy them.

One of these days I am going to make an articulated jointed horse for a reference item. I have looked online and the ones I have seen are .. well to me they are just horrible. The areas I generally need the most reference on are the jointed ones and to be blunt the  models they have out  just suck for that! Well the ones I have seen anyways.  If anyone can point me to a really good one that actually looks like a horse I would greatly appreciate it.

I am thinking very heavily about making a series of horwse coat based around some of my favorite Chris Ledoux songs.  Specifically Strawberry Roan, Cabaya Diablo, and Tennessee Stud. Now  he did all of them as remakes to the original song versions.  I also plan to do a background  with his song Stampede  as the inspiration I guess you would say. Who knows? Let's see if I actually get around to it.
